Andrea is an award-winning actor working in theatre, musical theatre, opera, film, television and voiceover. Most recently, Andrea has performed leading roles on stages across Canada, including four seasons at The Stratford Festival. In 2022 Andrea played Ophelia in Hamlet on the Festival Stage, to open the Stratford season.

Previously at The Festival, Andrea played Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (2020, cancelled due to Covid-19) and originated the roles of Anne Brontë in Brontë: The World Without, Astoreth and Urania in Paradise Lost and Jane Grey in Mother’s Daughter — which, after a successful run at the Stratford Festival, ran at Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto.

As a classical actor, Andrea has played

Cordelia in King Lear at both Bard on the Beach and Theatre Calgary; Desdemona in Othello at The Shakespeare Company; Luciana in The Comedy of Errors for Shakespeare By The Bow; Moth in Love’s Labours Lost (The Studio Theatre) and understudied Dromio of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors at the Stratford Festival. Andrea completed the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Acting at The Stratford Festival in 2018-2019.

Other selected theatre credits other include Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher, Crissy in HAIR at the Mayfield Dinner Theate, Ginger Rogers in Make Mine Love and two seasons playing Fanny in A Christmas Carol at The Citadel Theatre; Sarah in Shakespeare’s Rebel at Bard on the Beach; Mary Magdalene in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Wife in Blood Wedding and Marie in Pains of Youth at The Studio Theatre.

Andrea has appeared in several independent feature films including Algorithms, Walking The Line, Snowflake, The Secret Life of Girls. Most recently she appeared in a feature film shot in Alberta called Welcome to Zama.

As a voiceover artist, Andrea has worked on the Mass Effect 3 video games.

Andrea’s training includes a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta, The Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Acting at the Stratford Festival, Professional Music Theatre Intensive at The Banff Centre for the Arts, the Southern Alberta Vocal Experience at the University of Lethbridge and years of private voice and piano study with teachers across North America, acquiring her Grade 9 RCM levels (with Distinction).
